Course Overview
This is the first of three levels in the Arascina Cloud Necessities Program™ aimed at upskilling non-techies in cloud. You will learn the essentials of cloud terminology, strategy and opportunities, partnering with cloud providers and the financial, risk and security angle of cloud technology.
In the practical project, you will identify a cloud migration opportunity and write a business case to an Executive Committee and the Board of Directors for a given industry or company of your choice. This will make you fit to apply cloud opportunity identification and pitching to lead cloud projects and transformations.
As we go more digital, cloud adoptions can be a strategy your business way want to incorporate. Having a strong fundamental base for identifying such opportunities in a timely manner and assessing whether it is fit-for-purpose can accelerate your business growth.

Classes are run live online with an instructor. An orientation pack will be provided one week prior to classes commencing, which includes your confirmed weekday for the instructor-led class.
This ensures you receive direct access to leading expertise and can ask questions in class, thereby reinforcing your learning as you go.
Which cohort do I get?
As a learner, we want you to get the maximum benefit from your global cohort-learning experience:
- Upon registration, you will be assigned into a small cohort for optimal instructor-led, online face-to-face classes; and
- Each week, you will have the opportunity to be learning with like-minded peers as part of a community of other cohorts.

To receive the skills badge, you will be required to:
- Attend all instructor-led classes
- Satisfactorily complete all course activities
